Dahler builds X7 M because BMW wouldn’t

Only 500 units of the X7 Dark Shadow Edition.

Aftermarket tuning firm, Dahler has worked on the BMW X7 M50i thus giving it more oomph as well as stunning visual upgrades.

Called the Dark Shadow Edition, the tuned X7 now gushes out 463 kW and 830 Nm of torque – that’s an upgrade from the standard model’s 390 kW and 750 Nm.

The powertrain remains the same twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 engine. Dahler says it has a more powerful Stage 2 upgrade that will see the X7’s power outputs raised to 475 kW and 850 Nm.

In terms of visuals, the Dahler-tuned X7 is fitted with black chrome trim bits, a matte grey finish and an upgraded stainless-steel four-pipe exhaust system that features a bi-flap control to modulate the sound.

It rides on unique 11-by-23-inch forged wheels. The air suspension has been lowered for aerodynamics purposes.

Performance details remain unknown at this stage we know it’s quicker than the M50i that it’s based on. Only 500 units of the X7 Dark Shadow Edition.
