Man killed in vehicle accident in Eikenhof

A man was killed when his vehicle overturned along the R82 near Jasmine Hills in Eikenhof on April 6.
Corporate communications manager from ER24 Werner Vermaak said shortly before 5pm their paramedics, Midvaal Fire and Rescue as well as traffic services, attended the scene.
“Upon assessment, paramedics found that a man was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. He was found some distance away from the vehicle. Sadly, there was nothing that could be done for him and he was declared dead on the scene.
“The incident was handed over to the local authorities for further investigation. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known,” said Vermaak.
