Drug dealers arrested

Police confiscated 35 tablets, suspected of being Mandrax, sachets of nyaope and dagga.

Station commander Capt Sam Tshabalala applauded members of the Greylingstad SAPS who worked alongside members of the Standerton K9 Unit to ensure the success of a recent drug operation.

The operation took place from last Tuesday evening and carried on into the early hours of the following morning.
Two men, aged 30 and 34, were arrested in the Nthorwane location.

They face charges of dealing in drugs, as well as possession of state property.

Police confiscated 35 tablets, suspected of being Mandrax, sachets of nyaope and dagga. The drugs are valued at R8 800.

Upon a further search of the premises, police found and confiscated R500 cash, along with a SAPS police vest and an SANDF- camouflaged top.

The police vest along with the camouflaged top will be subject to further investigation to determine how it came into the men’s possession and from where it had been stolen.

Tablets, suspected of being Mandrax, along with nyaope were discovered and confiscated by members of the Greylingstad SAPS.
Greylingstad SAPS also found and confiscated a SAPS vest along with a SANDF-camouflaged top.
