Caregivers assist people who are sick, injured, mentally or physically disabled, as well as the elderly and fragile.
Applications for 2021 are now open for a six-month full-time course, which includes practical and work-skills placement.
Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Service is offering the course, and the entry requirement is Grade Nine. The fee is R18 000, and a payment plan is available.
The course is a QCTO-accredited NQF level two (70 credits). The SAQA ID is 104779.
