30-minute meals: Gnocchi with sage-butter sauce
As the temperature drops, a warm hearty meal is a must.
This delicious gnocchi dish is quick and easy to make.
You will need:
- Two packages potato gnocchi.
- A quarter cup butter.
- One clove garlic, minced.
- One teaspoon dried sage.
- A quarter teaspoon salt.
- A quarter cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- A quarter teaspoon ground black pepper.
- Two tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese.

What to do:
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the gnocchi pasta and cook until they float to the surface, two the three minutes; drain.
Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Stir in the garlic, and cook until the garlic has softened and is beginning to turn golden brown, about four minutes. Stir in the sage and salt for a few seconds then add the cooked gnocchi. Toss gently with a quarter cup of Parmesan cheese and the pepper. Sprinkle with the remaining two tablespoons Parmesan cheese to serve.
