Out of all the beaches across Africa, several of South Africa’s beaches have been listed on FlightNetwork’s Africa’s Top 50 Beaches.
The list is compiled by 1 200 people who have an interest in the travel industry.
- In 4th position is Noetzie Beach in Plettenberg Bay.
- In 5th position is Coffee Bay in the Eastern Cape.
- In 6th position is Camps Bay Beach in Cape Town.
- In 8th position is Boulders Beach in Cape Town.
- In 11th position is Hobie Beach in Port Elizabeth.
- In 30th position is Wilderness Beach in Wilderness, Garden Route.
- In 39th position is NoordHoek Beach in Cape Town.
- in 50th position is Diaz Beach in Cape Town.
The beaches were judged on Sheer Untouched Beauty, Remoteness, Sand and Water Quality, Annual Days of Sunshine and Average Annual Temperature.
