Don’t miss this fun-filled community event
N.S. Classic Events will be hosting a Vosloorus Community Fun Day at the Vosloorus Stadium.
The three-day entertainment will run from Saturday, April 13, until Monday, April 15.
Nkamogeleng Sepeng, one of the organisers, said the main purpose of the event is to raise funds to help the community.
“We want to organise career guidance for the youth from primary schools, high schools as well as tertiary institutions,” said Sepeng.
He said there will be a variety of entertainment.
“We will organise go-karts, giant jumping castles and a Vosloorus amazing race as well as an active flea market,” Sepeng told Kathorus MAIL.
A lot of prizes will be up for grabs, and there will be live performances by a number talented people.
Each day will cater for different learners.
“On April 13 we will cater for high school learners and the unemployed youth. It will be an open day with lots of career guidance and information on job opportunities.
“On April 14 we want to cater for the young primary school learners. The day will be filled with lots of fun and competitions for the young people.
“On April 15 we will cater mainly for churches, families and the elderly. We will be having competitions and lots of games for them to participate in,” said Sepeng.
Throughout the course of the event, they will have surprise celebrity guest appearances and live performances on stage.
“We want to invite the people of Vosloorus and neighbouring communities to come in their numbers to witness the greatest event ever to take place in the whole of Kathorus township,” Sepeng said.
