Miss Eagle South Africa is the largest ‘beauty with brains and purpose’ contest in South Africa.
Zwane is studying BCom Accounting at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
She told Kathorus MAIL that her internal and external beauty helps her to see her dream of becoming Miss Eagle South Africa come true.
“I’m beautiful inside and outside, and this is what this contest is all about.
“In addition to my beauty I love helping others and whatever I do is not always about what is in it for me, but it is about what is in it for other people in the world,” said Zwane.
She said she would like to touch and change peoples’ lives.
“I’m truly grateful to be part of Miss Eagle since it gives me a chance to work with charity organisations and give back to the community.
“During the course of this contest and in future, I want to teach young people the importance of investing in knowledge because knowledge is power.
“We cannot run away from the fact that education is important,” Zwane said.
She added that Miss Eagle South Africa helped her to see the good in herself that is why she is doing something to make her dreams come true.
“I thank God for giving me beauty and brains because I am able to use both to influence others to do good and to help them to get out of their comfort zones.
To have that go-getter spirit, to work hard and to help without expecting anything in return,” said Zwane.
She believes the reason why many women are unsuccessful is that they lack confidence in themselves.
“Women are scared to take risks, occupy bigger positions and chase their dreams.
“As a brand ambassador of Miss Eagle South Africa, I want to change that.
“I want to help them boost or build their self-esteem.
“I want teach them the importance of loving their bodies, skin color and accepting everything that they can’t change because self-love and self-contentment is the only golden ticket to happiness.”
She said in order to be crowned Miss Eagle South Africa she depends on the Kathorus MAIL readers.
“I know that I won’t be able to do that without you.
