Come play in a great charity golf day

A HUMBLE calling on all golfers with big hearts to tee up for a good cause and to support a charity golf day which has an excellent 15-year reputation of making a difference in the community.

This will take place on September 8 at Southdowns Country Club, Kibler Park which is at the corner of Springbok and Alabaster streets.

Style Construction cc will host its 16th Annual Charity Golf Day in aid of the New Apostolic Church, South Rand District, through which many welfare projects and worthy causes are assisted.

For its outstanding reputation of the excitement it brings, the golf day promises to create even more joy to those who are less fortunate and to add to those already joyful.

Those who participate as either a hole sponsor, prize sponsor or as a player can contribute to this worthy cause while still having a great time.

A portion of the fundraising will be donated to a worthy cause, as in the past. This year, a portion of the funds will also go towards the youth of South Rand District, to assist them in attending a special youth service to be held in Cape Town on February 18 next year, where more than 40 000 youth will be present from across South Africa and some neighbouring countries.

In years past, donations have also been made to Hospice East Rand and Stepping Stone, to mention a few.

Sponsors are well promoted, players are rewarded and any form of participation is highly appreciated and welcomed.

The cost of a hole sponsorship is R2 000.

The cost of a four-ball is R2 400. The price includes a round of golf, halfway house, the 19th hole, dinner, and live entertainment after dinner.

For further information about entering a four-ball, sponsoring a hole, or donating prizes, please contact Martin Fourie on 083 458 4994. Should you require any information about the New Apostolic Church or any of the projects they are involved in, contact Bradley Bourne on 079 506 2967.

“We thank all our sponsors and players who have supported us over the years and I would like to welcome any of our new sponsors and players alike,” said the owner of Style Construction cc, Martin Fourie.
