Millions of rand have been spent on this project and I had expected the mayor to give the residents of Ekurhuleni answers about what is really happening regarding the toilet issue.
Kathorus is surrounded by informal housing settlements and the money that was ill-spent on toilets should, in my opinion, have been used to build proper houses for poor families.

There is too much suffering in the townships to allow politicians to play games, and to misuse money that could have been used to alleviate poverty. The ANC seems to be taking sides in favour of Masina despite his unsatisfactory answers in responding to allegations of fraud and nepotism in this toilet saga.
