EMPD officers ignore by-law violations
By-law violations are taking place everywhere and are being ignored by EMPD officials.
My question is directed to the by-laws officer in Ekurhuleni.
What is being done about people who operate street restaurants and public drinking places on the pavements and making it difficult for pedestrians and vehicles to pass?
These public drinking places and restaurants are opening up everywhere around Kathorus in violation of municipal by-laws and the EMPD is doing absolutely nothing about it.

Where are the health inspectors who are supposed to be visiting these public places to ensure they are compliant with the townships’ municipal by-laws?
What is even more worrying to us as law-abiding residents are that these violations happen right under the eyes of the EMPD officers who are doing nothing about it.
