Residents have had enough of loud music and littering

Spruitview residents living near the Multi-Purpose Recreational Park are fed up with littering and loud music that.

Concerned parent and resident, Spruitview writes:

I am a resident of Spruitview and I live close to the Multi-Purpose Recreational Park.

I would like to bring to the attention of the authorities and the local media the plight of residents who live around the park.

We have been subjected to a barrage of loud music and the drinking of alcohol late into the night, which becomes even worse on weekends.

I am, therefore, appealing to Bella Moloi of the EMPD’s by-laws department and the station commander of the Vosloorus SAPS Brig Themba Denge, to arrange a meeting with us.

As residents we are experiencing regular unacceptable levels of noise around this area, especially on weekends when loud music is sometimes played until the early hours of the morning. To make matters worse, it is the local residents who have to clean up the litter in the morning.

We appeal to the EMPD’s By-Laws Department to please help us as residents to deal with this. Many parents are not aware of what their children are doing at night and I would like to see this budding crime scene stopped before it develops into something big.
