I commend Sanco for their stance

The South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) has done me proud.

I wish to express my deepest gratitude to the Vosloorus branch of Sanco for standing up for the young schoolboy allegedly molested by a charismatic church pastor in Vosloorus.

Perhaps it is also important to point out that the growth of charismatic churches in our communities has led to the rise of immoral crimes against young boys and girls. As communities, we all have to rise and stand up against these false prophets and their evil houses of devil worship.

I call upon all concerned residents around Kathorus to stand up and make their voices heard about their stance against “tent churches” in their communities. The municipality of Ekurhuleni must also make its voice heard in the fight against “tent churches” in the area.

My suggestion is that no person must be allowed to start a church unless he or she can prove their theological qualifications to operate a church. The problem is that many of these “pastors” just start these churches for the sake of making money from their congregants.
