False pastors and healers prey on the poor

Please allow me to voice my anger at people who still believe in false healers and backyard pastors for their spiritual upliftment.

There are hundreds of these false “saviours” who are mushrooming all over the place and ripping off thousands of unsuspecting victims in the townships of their hard-earned money with their fake promises of quick riches, fame and success.

As a victim of these unscrupulous criminals who masquerade as “healers” and “traditional doctors”, I want to warn other people, especially those in the townships, to be careful and vigilant when dealing with these shysters.

These wolves in sheep’s clothing target poor communities who can least afford to be exploited by offering them empty promises of elusive wealth, and robs many of us of our life savings. Last year alone, there were just over a dozen articles in different newspaper of victims who had fallen prey to these false pastors and healers.

As a victim, I urge other people who have suffered at the hands of these false healers and men of God to join hands and speak out about their experiences. We cannot continue to allow evil to dwell among us and ruin our lives.
