Recent storms warning from ancestors

My views may be dismissed by some as “nonsense” but I strongly believe that the recent hail storm was not just a “hail storm” that left many homes without roofs and families without shelter.

In fact, we should consider ourselves lucky that no serious casualties were reported at the time.

We have become an over-indulging Godless society of gluttons and drunkards.

Our communities have more taverns, “shisa nyama” outlets and “stokvel societies” than churches and social recreational youth clubs. We have more dance parties than we have prayer meetings in our communities.

We have become a sexualised society that prefers to take a photo of a drowning man than throw him a rope and drag him out of the river. We seem to be are more ruthless and violent to our kind than animals are towards their own.

We have become gluttons for greed with no compassion for the hungry and needy among us. We are a selfish society that is driven by our own self-love that aborts and abandons it newly-born while we abuse its aged.

In fact we are like a people who have been abandoned by their ancestors and the recent hail storms were just a warning of worse things o come, unless we get our story right.
