Who is pulling strings in your life?

There are dogs called Siberian huskies which are used by the Eskimos for transportation. These dogs are highly trained by their handlers, from puppies to adulthood, to follow instructions with precision.

When their handlers give them instructions (go forward, turn left and turn right), they follow them exactly. Huskies usually just sit there, get bored and cannot do anything by themselves. They are only useful when given instructions to carry-out.

Human beings have dreams to accomplish. They have a voice within which is a guiding light to what they are meant to be. Most people, however, ignore that voice and continue carrying out instructions from others for the rest of their lives.

You hear people saying: “I am bored, I don’t know what to do, people don’t like me, when the time is right I will do such and such,” and complaining about everything under the sun. How can you really be bored when there’s so much to do? Take stock of your life right now and stop living your life on other people’s terms, it’s your life, and it was given to you for a reason.

If you don’t know where you are going, someone else will take you wherever he/she wants and don’t blame them. So, make the ‘me’ time to listen to the voice within, the only guiding light you have.

Then you will wave good-bye to your handlers (controllers), boredom, complaining, blaming and criticizing (CBC) and welcome happiness. Stop tip-toeing through life, walk boldly and leave this world a much better place than you found it.

You have the power to do so, stand up and be counted.
