Hospital urges families to collect remains of their loved ones

Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital (TMRH) is appealing to families to claim the remains of their family members who died while receiving medical treatment between September 25, 2023 and January 24.

Members of the public, relatives and friends with information that can help the hospital find the deceased’s families are encouraged to contact the mortuary manager Duduzile Buthelezi to make arrangements for collection.

• Nicholus Mdletshe (70) from 5983 Zone Five, Zonkizizwe, Katlehong died on January 22.

• Izak Gows (70) from Five Phlox Eve, Primrose, Germiston. The hospital informed his wife telephonically on January 16. The body is still unclaimed.

• Phillip Selebele or Themba Nsibeni (43) from A78 Lekoma Street, Thokoza, who died on December 2, 2023. According to information from a friend, the deceased is from Maputo.

• A newborn female baby of Nokuthula Lamani from 2638 Lusaka, Moleleki section, Katlehong passed away on December 1, 2023.

The hospital report states that Lamani arrived with a demised baby.

• A newborn male baby of Senzeni Mhlanga from 63 Lambe Hast, Eden Park 1458 died on November 28, 2023.

• Jonas Mhlanga (43) died on October 29, 2023. His address was not provided to the hospital. However, his landlord was informed on October 29. She is no longer answering phone calls.

• Joseph Ndima (57) from Eagle Excellence Hospice, Eden Park died on September 25, 2023.

Hospice owner Pastor Phillip owner promised to claim the body after he was informed on the same day.

• The baby of Monica Muda from Greenfield or Thokoza died on October 28. TMRH was provided with an incomplete address and incorrect information.

• A newborn male baby of Delisiwe Mohammed from 1666 Ext 5, Thokoza died on August 10, 2023. Mohammed was informed on the same day.

• Newborn female twin babies of Wandile Qxabane from 10830 Moapei Street, Vosloorus died on October 24, 2023. The mother was informed.

• The male baby of Maggie Mkandawirie 655 Radebe section, Katlehong who died on November 7, 2023. His mother, Mkandawirie, was informed.

• The baby of Lungiswa Dyasi from 105 Ext 21, Phumula died on November 4, 2023.

• Julias Chauke (50) from 9202 or 2083 Phase 5, Tsietsi died on January 13. Constable Mogane was informed about his passing.

• Thinasonke resident Mduduzi Thusile (36) from 1149 Ngcobo Street died on November 14, 2023. His friend Pule was informed.
