Ekurhuleni District Commissioner Major General Anna Sithole welcome 386 new police Constables

386 new constables from the SAPS Training College welcomed.

Ekurhuleni district commissioner Major General Anna Sithole together with the deputy district commissioner Brigadier Lebohang Machakela welcomed 386 new constables from the SAPS Training College.

The new constables will be working at Golden Walk Mall, Germiston. Sithole motivated the new constables, sharing that they also started from the college up to where they are today.

She stressed the values and conduct of the police.

“You are going to serve the community according to the code of conduct. Whatever you do, remember social media is always there, and remember to respect the community we are serving.

“Respect is our keyword in the service, I believe that if you wish to wear higher ranks, your conduct will determine what kind of police officer you will become,” said Sithole.

She urged them to be eager to pick up knowledge from their senior members and commanders at all times, to take the proper actions to reach the top, to put the theory they had studied in college into reality, to enrol in SAPS courses, and to gain respect even when no one else was looking.
