Joint effort to repaint Vosloorus police station

Vosloorus SAPS enjoyed a fresh look after numerous role players joined hands to repaint the police station.

The Paul Launch Organisation with other role players helped to repaint the Vosloorus police station on September 23 following a generous paint donation by Brightshade Paints.

EFF PR councillor Sipho Watkins said they picked up that the condition of the police station was bad during their visit.

He said they approached the station’s commandeer and offered to help as part of their public service.

They painted the client service centre, holding cells and three offices with assistance from Vosloorus CPF and the Youth Desk.

Vosloorus SAPS media liaison officer Constable Nompumelelo Nhlapo said this will make community members comfortable visiting the station and it will encourage SAPS members to provide good service.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the stakeholders, your generosity is what gives our members the resources and support. As the station management, we thank you for making a difference, we are humbled by the gesture.”
