Families encouraged to claim loved ones’ remains

The unclaimed bodies will be buried as paupers seven days after the article is published.

Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital (TMRH) calls on the families of five individuals who passed away between June 25 and July 10 to claim the remains of their loved ones.

Friends and community members can assist by sharing the information with the listed families known to them.

• Dinzi Sabelo (40) from Ext 1, 284 Eden Park West, died on July 10. The police could not find anyone at the provided address.

• Phakiso Mashakere died on July 7, a day after being admitted. He is approximately 35 years old. No one provided his home address.

• The TMRH communication assistant director, Joseph Monaheng, said Ramokonopi Clinic referred a patient, Smangalliso Nomvalo from B 514 Loliwe Street, Villaliza informal settlement was referred to the hospital on July 6. He died on July 7.

His mother was informed verbally by Ward 2 staff on the day he passed away. However, the body remains unclaimed.

• A two-day-old baby of Nosipho Mdluli from 12089 Ntongani Indlovu Street, Ext 13 Vosloorus, died on July 4.

• A newborn baby of Olona Gayi from 1 Roodekop Street, Rondebuilt, died on June 26.

Monaheng urged family members of these individuals to visit the Germiston Mortuary at address 10 Long Street Germiston to collect their bodies.
