Africa Day in photographs

Africa Day commemorates the foundation of the OAU in 1963, which was renamed the AU in 2002.

This year environmental justice organisations Earth Life Africa Johannesburg (ELAJ) and Amadiyya Community Organization (ACO) partnered with local organisations to host an event to commemorate Africa Day under the theme of ‘Climate Change’.

These photographs were taken during the Africa Day celebrations at Vosloorus Old Age Home on May 25.
