Vosloorus man nabbed with R3 000 worth of dagga

The 49-year-old offender was immediately arrested and taken to the Vosloorus Police Station.

The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a man for possession and possible dealing in illegal substances at Ext 28, Vosloorus, on May 26.

According to the EMPD media liaison Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa, the officers were following up on information that they have received about an individual selling drugs in the community.

Officers found the suspect in possession of 79 medium and 26 large bags of dagga with an estimated value of R3 050 and R30 in cash at his place of residence.

The offender was arrested and taken to the Vosloorus Police Station. He is expected to appear at the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court soon.
