Brackendowns SAPS members saw a suspicious-looking white truck and stopped it on November 20 in their policing precinct during a crime-busting operation.
Upon searching the truck, they found gas cylinders.
While the members were busy engaging the driver, he confessed that the gas cylinders were stolen.
“The complaint of a business robbery came through the radio control and the members attended it. They found that these gas cylinders were taken during a business robbery. The complainant managed to identify the stolen property taken during the business robbery,” explained Sergeant Lindile Moloi of Brackendowns SAPS.
They arrested the truck driver for suspected stolen property and he appeared at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s court on November 22.
