City holds workshop on film industry for budding filmmakers
The city will host a workshop for aspiring filmmakers in Germiston.
The CoE calls on all aspiring filmmakers and film industry enthusiasts to attend a one-day workshop to unlock the magic of indie film mastery at the Dumisani Masilela Theatre in Germiston on November 21.
The workshop will unpack the tricks of the trade to uncover the power of social media wizardry and influencer engagement and learn to craft irresistible film trailers, posters and marketing materials that leave audiences and industry professionals craving more.
The workshop will not just be about theory but also action. Get ready to submit your film to festivals with a step-by-step guide, including crafting a compelling press kit and selecting the right festival category for optimum exposure.
