Kliprivier SAPS and stakeholders offer educational talks

Kliprivier SAPS and several other stakeholders recently visited local schools in the area to offer school talks to tackle social ills.

Kliprivier SAPS Social Crime Unit recently held a school talk at Royal Schools Alberton to tackle the scourge of bullying and human trafficking.

Alpha Trauma Centre, the Department of Community Safety, and community patrollers joined the SAPS members to equip learners with information on social ills. Informative pamphlets were also distributed to the learners.

This was also followed by another school visit to Randvaal Primary School, where SAPS’ social crime prevention coordinator together with Alpha Trauma Centre, a social worker, the Department of Social Development, and patrollers conducted a school talk.

Learners were addressed on issues around drugs and substance abuse.
