Licensing documents can be accessed from city’s website

The EMPD and licensing division informs communities that some documents from the Department of Licensing can be accessed from the City of Ekurhuleni’s website.

Documents include:

• Registration and licensing of motor vehicles (RLV)

• Application for licensing of motor vehicle (AVL)

• Notice of change of ownership

• Notice of change of particulars of person

• Application for deregistration of motor vehicle

• Application for a duplicate registration certificate

• Change of particulars of motor vehicle

• Declaration of lost documents

The EMPD reiterated that all these documents can be downloaded from the Ekurhuleni website.

“After accessing these documents, a person can just fill the document and attach the other credentials if needed, then proceed to the Licensing Department and continue with their desires. These documents can still be found at the Licensing Department as usual,” it stated.
