Sassa May payment dates have changed
Changes were made to Sassa payment dates for this month.
Sassa made some critical changes to the payment schedule for this month and would like to notify all social grant recipients.
In the case of social grant recipients, the funds will be available in their bank accounts as follows:
Older persons: May 4.
Disability grants: May 5
Childrens grants: May 8.
The beneficiaries are advised to consider using their cards to buy goods or related commodities rather than withdrawing all of the funds. Furthermore, social grant recipients are requested to be patient and not rush to withdraw their money from their accounts. Their money will remain available in their accounts until they are ready to withdraw it.
Clients unable to withdraw their funds within the first few days of payment should also not worry or rush to make withdrawals.
These changes are applicable from this month. If there are more changes to the payment schedule, Sassa will communicate in due course.
Sassa apologises for the inconvenience and frustration these changes will cause all grant recipients.
