Cambridge FC beats Kathorus Academy FC

The Cambridge team won the match with a score of 6-0.

Cambridge FC faced Kathorus FC on March 25 at the Mackenzieville Stadium.

“It was a slow start thanks to the rain on the day,” said the chairperson, Ignatius Maphike.

“The community came out in numbers despite the weather.”

The Cambridge team, with Dennis Metsana as head coach, took charge of the match from the start.

The team managed to score their first goal at the 12th-minute mark.

The second goal for Cambridge came not long after the first, in the 18th minute.

The Cambridge team scored two more goals during the first half, ending the half with a score of 2-0 in favour of Cambridge.

“The second half of the match saw the Kathorus team struggling to keep up with our momentum,” Maphike explained.

During the second half, the Cambridge team managed two more goals, ending the match with a win and a final score of 6-0.

The goal scorers of the day for Cambridge were Oupa Mbokazi, Vuyisle Pasman and Auguston Leonard.
