SAPS encourages collection of clearance certificates

Captain Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS says thousands of police clearance certificates are piling up at their station and will expire within six months.

Alberton SAPS is calling on community members to urgently collect their police clearance certificates (PCC) as they will soon expire.

The station has about 2 000 police clearance certificates, which need to be collected from Sergeant Kagisho Molokomme and Constable Asanda Gawula’s office.

Community members are requested to visit the station to obtain their certificates from the same office where they made their application.

“Members of Alberton SAPS working in the police clearance office are going an extra mile in assisting the community and doing an exceptional job for their community. We urge the community to visit the station to collect their police clearance certificates,” said Captain Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS.
