Members of Alberton SAPS crime prevention unit together with K9 patrollers and other stakeholders searched Alberton Primary School on September 1.
Before making their way to the school, the men and women in blue held a parade.
The Vispol commander informed the officers of what the business of the day was ahead of the search and they proceeded with a convoy to the school.
“Members in full uniform are indirectly preventing crime. Criminals are always chased by members who are visible, in marked cars and our members in uniform. I salute them as they are always there for the community at large,” said Captain Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS.
