TTC spoils senior citizens with gifts

Transformed Teenagers Club (TTC) recently held a special gathering to honour senior citizens from Moshoeshoe Section, Katlehong, to celebrate Women’s Month.

Founder of TTC Smangele Bokaba said the event aimed to appreciate elderlies in the community by showering them with love.

“We showed some appreciation and love. We then spoiled them with some gifts before we cooked lunch for them,” said Bokaba.

“We would love to extend gratitude and blessings to our executive and all the people who donated, including Sunbake and African Women and Youth League.”

TTC was formed in August 2014 with the purpose of empowering and helping young girls to become people of statue.

It aims to create a system that will bring forth opportunities and accommodate all kinds of characters that aspire to bring change.

Bokaba said they want a system whereby young girls are empowered and encouraged to return to their communities and mentor other young people.

“We also want to build self-efficiency and self-reliance to empower them to move beyond structural difficulties and build themselves to be independent young people.”
