Pam Golding Properties joined forces with Amcare to celebrate Mandela Day on July 18.
Pam Goldings and Amcare visited Encochoyini Primary School to donate clothes to the community to keep them warm during the winter.
According to Neil Mc kinon of Hammond Pole Attorneys, one of their values is to offer a comprehensive range of humane services which ensures that everyone within the community is well taken care of.
Pam Golding Properties Alberton and Johannesburg South provides a wide variety of property services in several real estate markets, including residential and commercial sales as well as rental and property management services.
“It is not just because of Mandela Day since we love giving back to the community because we are also part of the community and most important of all the community has been good to us since 1981. We work with different organisations to ensure that their end goal is always met,” said Mc Kinon.
Pam Goldings Properties together with Amcare donated over 60 bags of clothes to over 150 individuals who make up the communities of Greenfileds, Eden Park and Phola Park.
Amcare Services focuses on providing social work services to those who are emotionally or physically challenged by at least providing basic needs such as nutritious meals, clothes, and shelter through donations made by potential sponsors.
Marketing and fundraising officer Ayanda Mlambo said that as an NPO that focuses on empowering the most vulnerable individuals, they are grateful for the donations made by the Pam Goldings Properties group because these donations help them serve their purpose to the community.
“We are very thankful to Pam Goldings Properties for the generous donations, through the donations we were able to reach out to the most vulnerable in the community. We appreciate the donations, and we cannot that the Pam group enough,” Ayanda said.
Individuals who came through had various items to choose from such as winter tracksuits, T-shirts, dresses, socks, trousers, jackets, shoes and many more.
After receiving the clothing donations, the company together with Amcare served the community with delicious soup and rolls.
