Thelle Mogoerane Hospital urges families to collect unclaimed bodies

Unclaimed bodies create challenges for the hospital as some families go for months without inquiring with the hospital, even after the hospital has made attempts to inform families.

Ekurhuleni Health District is calling on families and friends to visit Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital (TMRH) to collect the remains of their loved ones at the facility’s mortuary.

Families are urged to communicate with the hospital to avoid disappointment.

The hospital often reports unclaimed bodies to families so they can collect and provide a dignified burial for their loved ones.
