Alberton High learners explore agricultural interests

Alberton High School learners were recently hosted at the Food for Mzansi agricultural awareness day.

Alberton High School learners recently visited the Katlehong Engineering School of Specialisation and received a heart-warming welcome from the host school.

The group of learners was led into a hall where they watched videos on agricultural careers and how to best grow their careers in agriculture.

The day was organised by the Department of Education and Food for Mzansi.

Co-founder of Food for Mzansi addressed the group of interested learners on South African agriculture.

Some of the speakers of the day also focused on different careers that learners may venture into in the agricultural fraternity.

King Price, Standard Bank and Food for Mzansi also had stalls to elaborate on agricultural careers in those specific brands.

The well-spent day also had some learners walking away with prizes.
