Taking care of the community’s little ones

Children from four day care's were spoiled during Easter.

Members from Brackendowns SAPS Vispol and sector managers joined hands with partners from Reaper Tactical Security, Brackendowns CPF and friends from the Golden Bakery for Easter.

They visited four daycares in the Thinasonke informal settlement, where they handed out snacks and cooldrinks.

The visit aimed to reach out to the little ones and spoil them for Easter. The team was welcomed with tears of joy by the children.

“We really do care about the community, and this is a small way for us and our partners to give back,” said WO Gerhard Cornelius from Brackendowns SAPS.

“Taking care of our community is one of the many crime-fighting initiatives. We are blessed to be part of a community that stands with us in this everlasting battle against crime.”
