Department of Economic Development partners with PurpleGrowth to train entrepreneurs

Remember closing date is May 16.

The City of Joburg’s Department of Economic Development has teamed with PurpleGrowth Training and Executive Coaching to offer a virtual financial management training and coaching programme for entrepreneurs.

Small business owners will learn to interpret financial statements, execute a cash flow analysis, and get insight into budgeting and profit planning as a result of this skills development programme.

In addition, they will enhance their understanding of financial management concepts such as the time value of money, capital planning, financing, and working capital.

For the duration of this training, PurpleGrowth will use three of the City of Johannesburg’s Opportunity Centres (Region B, D and F) to facilitate live virtual sessions and pre-recorded content.

Applications are open and will close on May 16. Interested entrepreneurs can apply for admission to the programme by emailing their CV to any of the designated centres.

Region F is at Joburg Market Opportunity Centre, 4 Fortune Street in City Deep and you can email applications to: thabot@joburg.org.za
