SAPS and APN reach out to Thinasonke
The children were very excited to receive a teddy bear from the police
Brackendowns SAPS joined hands with Animal Protection Network to conduct an outreach campaign in the community of Thinasonke informal settlement on February 15.
They donated food parcels to hungry four-legged friends in identified families. The police officials also had the opportunity to engage the community on crime-related topics such as gender-based violence and child safety.
As a special surprise children were also given a teddy bear by the officers.
