Alberton SAPS conducts random school search

Members of Alberton SAPS conducted a crime prevention operation at a local school on February 18.

Members of Alberton SAPS held a parade and conducted a random search, which included a school to prevent crime in their policing precinct on February 18.

Station commander Olven Kelehile Letloenyane and his officers highlighted the fact that there was a crime committed in the area.

According to Capt Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS, they then prepared their members to be in good standing and enforced the law.

“The outcome of this operation will be communicated at a later stage. As Alberton SAPS we have been reminded by the station commander that to be an officer is a calling from God,” he said.

He reiterated that the management of the station was proud of seeing its members acting professionally and presentable while serving the community.
