A 36-year-old woman was arrested and charged with murder after the burned body of a man, suspected to be her 32-year-old partner, was found at a dumping site in Eden Park.
The man, according to Lt-Col Mavela Masondo, was reported missing by his uncle on November 7.
Masondo said police had been searching for him until the body was discovered on November 8.
“Police investigation led to the man’s partner, who was arrested on the same day the body was discovered. The suspect was charged with murder. She recently appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court,” he said.
