Department of Health’s mobile roll-out programme continues

The Palm Ridge community and those from surrounding areas visited Palm Ridge Community Centre to receive their vaccination and free testing services on July 27.

The programme, referred to as Ward-Based War Room, was integrated with the registration of over 35-year-olds and seniors above 60 years for vaccine registration.

The campaign was primarily coordinated by the Gauteng Department of Health, jointly with the City of Ekurhuleni.

The department also partnered with National Health Laboratory Service, Aurum Institute, Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) and numerous NPOs.

Teams were also on the ground identifying challenges affecting Palm Ridge, Tsietsi, Greenfields and surrounding areas.
