Katlehong North CPF members welcomes new reflectors

Mandela, Nhlapo, Shongweni and Holomisa are announced as hot spots for the highest crime rate, according to the CPF's monthly crime stats.

Katlehong North CPF members received new reflectors for their door-to-door awareness campaign, which began on April 21.

The chairperson of CPF, Auto Sebeko, said the reflectors will make the members visible during the day and at night as they fight crime.

He said the CPF will be conducting a joint patrol with the Katlehong police.

“Our financial contribution towards having these reflectors is our commitment to squeeze out criminals from our communities, si’zobangena (we will confront them),” said Sebeko.

He said the areas that they will be targeting include hot spots.

“Areas that we will be targeting are Mandela, Nhlapo, Shongweni and Holomisa. Criminals don’t have a place here. We are going to squeeze them out. They better take their things and leave,” said Sebeko.
