Newly established Christian author spreads hope

Newly established Christian author Zandile Maphike has published an inspirational book titled The Book of Job, which is inspired by Job 15:13.

Zandile Maphike has narrated a celebrated biblical story into publishing an inspirational, easy-to-read Christian book with intent to spread hope.

She recently published her inspiring book titled The Book of Job, which is inspired by Job 15:13.

The book best tells the story of Job, a man who suffered hardships but was later blessed for his perseverance. It allows readers to relate to Job, giving them hope that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

According to Maphike, whose purpose in life is to encourage others, the book is not only targeted at Christians.

“Like dark days, this book teaches us that hardships are unavoidable and not there to be around forever. The important thing is to know what to do when dark days come. This book gives hope to people from all walks of life, not a certain religious group,” she said.

The New Redruth mother of three told the RECORD dark days in a person’s life do not mean the absence of God.
“God was with Job and He saw all his sufferings. Sometimes God allows you to go through pain so you may have an encounter with Him. Job confessed after his sufferings that he heard about God, but after what he went through he now knew him,” said Maphike.

Enduring through trials

The positive message behind her book is that a person’s position in adversity will determine their destination.

“You must go through challenges, even if it hurts, embrace it and be strong for God. He will carry you just like He did with Job. Trusting God in adversity is faith. Keep your faith and wait on God, He is neither a man that He should lie nor the son of men to repent,” said Maphike.

Her book has gained her fame and has paved a way for her to doing motivational talks in neighbouring communities.
