The new supermarket, based in Chris Hani Crossing, saw customers flock to the opening, eager to take advantage of store specials including the much-talked-about ‘Black Friday Week’ promotions that the supermarket is widely known for.
“As the newest member of the Vosloorus community, we are proud to finally be open and ‘home.’ We were not prepared for all the support and love we received and it has shown us all at Boxer Chris Hani just how important our superstore is to the community. Boxer intends on keeping its promise as the community champion and returning all the love shown by the community, every day,” said Boxer Chris Hani manager Dikiledi Mathobisa.
With rows of till points manned by highly trained cashiers, shopping will be a breeze at the ‘all-under-one-roof’ store. A butchery, bakery, fresh fruit and veg section, hot food deli and money kiosk means Vosloorus shoppers now have two supermarkets in town to get exactly what they need this festive season.
With Boxer’s famed Black Friday specials and More Christmas for FREE promotions giving shoppers an extra reason to smile, many residents said the opening had taken place at exactly the right time.
“We now have two Boxers to visit and shop at. Our trolleys are full and our hearts are happy,” said an excited shopper at the opening.
