SA bikers set to take a stand against racism and murders

While in front of the gates to the Union Buildings, the bikers plan to slow down their bikes and lay white roses and crosses.

Bikers from across South Africa will come together in the hopes of taking a stance against racism and farm murders in SA.

On August 29 bikers will travel a 50km circuit which will see them pass the gates of the Union Buildings.

Bikers plan to also lay white roses and crosses in front of the gates as a way to communicate their message.

All those participating are expected to obey the rules of the road, respect other motorists, stay on their bikes, wear face masks and maintain a distance of two metres from each other.

The group will meet in Pretoria at 11am.

Meeting points in Ekurhuleni are:

• Springs and surrounding area – leave Horse and Hound Pub and Grill at 8.30am to travel up Paul Kruger Road then N12 West. Contact Dust 072 178 3666.
• Brakpan – leave Fireplace (old UFO Roadhouse in Brakpan) at 8.30am and travel to Harley Boksburg. Contact Brett on 083 258 8271.
• Benoni – leave BP petrol station located on the corner of Bunyan and Tom Jones roads at 8.45am. Contact Fernando 082 452 963.

• R21 – stop at the Engen petrol station on R21 North before Olifants Road and leave at 10.30am. Contact Andrew on 082 533 0496.

At noon while on the route, the group will stop for a prayer session and a helmet-up salute against racism and farm murders.
