Resthaven’s food drive needs your help

Resthaven, in the last four decades, provided relief to thousands who sought help from homelessness and hunger.
Over the last year there has been an increase in the number of people seeking help, for just the basic needs.
Resthaven, through generous donations, has been feeding thousands.
In the last months, the capacity of Resthaven to maintain life-changing support is becoming difficult, as the budget cannot sustain the services we provide to members of surrounding communities.
Therefore, this appeal goes out to the public and businesses for help.
The type of support they need includes donations of canned vegetables, canned fish, prepacked dried beans, pasta, mealie meal, rice, or other non-perishable items.
If possible, donors or groups could accumulate items and contact Resthaven on 011 435 2790 so they can collect from a designated address.
