EMPD head office, vehicles disinfected by NGO

Members of a non-government organisation based in Midrand sterilised the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department head quarters on Margaret Avenue in Kempton Park on April 20.

Said Kobeli Mokheseng, metro police spokesperson: “The Scientology church ministry, which has been effective for over thirty years, volunteered their services to sanitise all EMPD buildings and official motor vehicles following the lockdown.”

As the Chief of Police Izaac Mapiyeye and his management team went through the company’s profile before they were endorsed, they came out highly recommended by national, provincial and neighbouring law enforcement agencies, because of their exceptional charity work they have been engaged in previously.

“We trust and believe that the good work you are performing here, will also apply to others, we thank you,” the head of department said addressing part of the volunteering group as they were disinfecting buildings and vehicles.
