Mogobong Primary holds awards ceremony

Learners were rewarded according to their performance in each and every learning area.

Mogobong Primary School held its awards ceremony at the school premises in Katlehong recently.

According to Freddie Bogogolela, the school principal, the purpose of the ceremony was to reward their learners who performed at their utmost best during this academic year.

Delivering his speech inside a fully packed hall, Bogogolela said the awards ceremony is among the most-treasured occasions of the school as it provides the school with an opportunity to reflect on the preceding year, address the whole community and share the achievements, success, and plans of their school for the days to come.

“Our school truly believes that good education plays a crucial role in building a bright future for our children. Therefore, we are committed to providing an atmosphere to our learners where they all can imbibe good values and learn new things every day. I am extremely glad at the fact that our SGB members, as well as teachers, are leaving no stone unturned in working towards this. On this important occasion, we get a chance to publicly celebrate this success achieved through the sheer hard work and perseverance of both our learners and teachers,” Bogogolela said.
