R50 000 reward for Thokoza girls’ killers

The police have been unable to tracking the suspect/s responsible for the double murder of the children.

The Gauteng Provincial Police are offering a reward of up to R50 000 for information that may lead to the arrest of suspect/s involved in the double murder of two young girls aged eight and nine in Thokoza in May 2018.

The bodies of Nonkululeko Xaba (9) and her friend Manono Mhlongo (8) were found by members of the community molested and dumped at an open veld between Maphanzela and Mkhathizwa primary schools last year.

Police spokesperson Col Lungelo Dlamini said the provincial police are offering a reward of up to R50 000 to anyone who might have information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect/s.

“Anyone who might have information may contact Sgt Kotelo of the Provincial Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offence Unit on 082 414 5286 or contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111,”Dlamini said.
