After being robbed at gunpoint recently a Dinwiddie resident is warning the public to be cautious.
“I was robbed by a man driving a blue Kia.
“He managed to take the groceries I had bought from Checkers at The Reef, my bank card and house keys,” the resident said.
“I saw the Primrose police had issued an alert for a blue Kia and I am wondering if it is the same vehicle.”
She is warning the community of Dinwiddie and Lambton to be vigilant as she has reportedly heard of a number of crimes in the areas over the past few weeks.

“I am even scared to walk around because I may be a victim again,” she said.
“I tried opening a case at the police station, but the police officer basically dismissed me saying half the time criminals use stolen vehicles and change number plates, so I do not know if I will get any joy from opening a case.”
She added that these days people live in fear and are afraid to leave the house and walk around and that she hardly sleeps due to fear.
“As a community, we must stand together and find a way to deal with the sad state of affairs in our area,” the resident said.
