Graduates ready to tackle the working world
There was much excitement at the recent Peermont Hotel School graduation ceremony.
After studying and working hard during their four-month fully-funded learnerships at the Peermont Hotel School, a CSI initiative of the Peermont Community Benefit Trust, which is funded by Emperors Palace, youngsters from Germiston, Katlehong and Phumula Gardens were rewarded for their efforts when they graduated as either chefs, waitrons or housekeepers at a ceremony held at the Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace, recently.
Local residents, between the ages of 18 and 25, who have their sights set on becoming a chef, waitron or accredited housekeeper can apply for a sponsorship, which will give successful applicants the opportunity to complete a four-month course at the school in one of the above-mentioned skills programmes by visiting www.peermonthotelschool.co.za.
